National Auto Warranty
Ripped me off and blatenly lied to me over the phone

I have a 1997 Mercedes Benz S600. This vehicle is rarely driven as it has approx. 49,000 miles on it.

The warranty ran out on it some time ago and in the back of my mind for a while now I have been thinking about getting some kind of warranty to cover any possible major repairs.

National Auto Warranty just happened to call me one day and started explaining how there services worked. I am usually wiery of phone solicitations but they seemed to be straight forward and provide a service I was looking for.

National Auto Warranty basically explained to me their coverage which included free towing, a rental car, all mechanical parts with labor and installation. They also worked out a payment plan that was almost to good to be true.in the back of my mind I knew this but made the mistake of ignoring my instinct.

Recently I had the vehicle washed and then went to a conveince store. My check engine light came on.in this heat I wasn't going to take any chances. I had the warranty so why not use it.

I made two payments to them by this time and have not received anything but more statments for my monthly payment. I called them to tell them about the tow and my car was at my mechanic they approved.

They told me they were not going to cover the tow or any part of the repair because I have not driven the vehicle 1000 miles and waited 60 days. When I purchased this warranty I explained to them numerous times that I rarely drive the vehicle as they were amazed by the low milage. They specifically told me that the coverage takes two weeks to take effect and nothing about milage. They kept telling me I would recieve a card in the mail in two weeks and it would be in effect. Now I called again and a supervisor told me 1500 miles and 30 days. I explained to her that there was never any conversation of any miles required just the two weeks.

National Auto Warranty now puts me on hold, will not answer the phone to resolve this. I have not recieved the card or anything telling me about there requirements. They now took two payments from me and won't cancel this coverage.

National Auto Warranty will rip you off for your hard earned money and provide nothing to you. If anyone else out there has a problem with this company like this please feel free to contact me.
