I am in Brooklyn MI and hoping you can help, my employee had her house burn down a few months ago, they only had structural insurance, which paid off the claim directly to the mortgage company, they paid 80,000 to the mortgage comapny, which the mortgage company took off their mortgage amount, leaving them with a 29,000 dollar mortgage. The problem is they gave no insurance money to rebuild, which would cost 30,000 dollars and they also will not adjust there payment which is still 900 dollars a month and the end result they are paying on a house they can't live in and can't afford to rent and pay 900 amonth mortgage payment or rebuild to make it livable. This is a family of 5 that has now no where to live but in a camper and is still forced to pay. Is there anything that can be done???
