Countrywide sold our mortgage to Bank Of America We are currently paying 6.75 approx. We have tried numerous times to refiance and was current on our mortgage. We received several letters saying we could refiance but when trying to they wanted to charge us 8000.00 in closing cost and points for a mortgage they already hold. Then they turned around and said we were not eligible. Now we get a letter from Green Tree that they bought our loan from B OF A and to send the payment to them. No Letter from B of A notifiying us. Which explains why they would not cooperate with us. Both Banks are scammers. We have alway made it a priority to pay our mortgage first. Now we ned help and no one will help us.
