On May, 05 I bought 2000 Nissan Sentra from David Hill the owner of Legacy motors. He seemed very nice and willing to work with me, so I test drove the car it seemed fine so I signed the paper work and took the car home.
The next morning I drove it to work and the check engine light came on so I called the dealership and they told me it would be fine but just to bring it in so they could test it. I took the car there on the 8th and they tested it. The mechanic (Dean) told me he needed the car for a day.
I took the Nissan back the next morning to be fixed, the dealership called me later that day to pick it up, I went to pick it up and I noticed that It was acting really different, it was shaking every time I would push on the gas it would hesitate and when I stopped at a stop light it would just shake very bad.
As soon as I got home I called the dealership and told them my problem, and was told to bring the car back tomorrow morning I did just that. The mechanic told me it was the catalytic converter so they were going to replace it for no charge.
On May, 12th I got a call saying my car was ready so I went to pick it up let me tell you I got into the car and it was still doing the same thing as it was before. Ihadput 700 dollars down on the car and they told me there was nothing wrong with it so I turned back around and told them again.
The dealership told me to leave it there again by this time I was just feed up I asked the gentleman that was working there could they put me into another car because I have no way to work he told me that it was unheard of, so I asked could they pay for a rental he said sure but you cant go over 40 dollars I'm 19 so that was out the question.
I left the car there again on the 12th and wednesday rolls around no phone call or nothing they have had my car now for 4 days without a call no apology or anything. So I called the dealership and spoke to the owner David hill who sold me the car, I asked him was the car ready he told me no and he wasn't sure so I said OK.
I called my mother-in-law and she wanted to talk with the owner so we called him on three way and I told him that my mother in law would like to talk with him he cuts me off and tells me that he is not going to talk wit her. He was so rude to me.
I just asked him why no one did a follow up call with me he tells me that they will not call me every 5minutes about my car he starts raising his voice at me and my mother in law comes in and asked him why hes being so rude to me and he just hangs up the phone.
The next day comes around still no phone call so I go up to the dealership and my car isn't there I asked the gentlemen where it is he tells me that its at another shop. I didn't say anything else I wanted to talk with the owner he pulled up outside. I asked him could I talk to him.
He was like who are you I said I am Tequlia I spoke to you over the phone yesterday and you hung up on me, and he gets smart and tells me do you think I no who you are so me and my boyfriend goes into his office he suddenly knows who I am now.
As we start talking I told him that I felt like I wasn't being treated like a customer he goes well that's your opinion and he was just being so rude so my boyfriend tells him that he needs to stop being so rude and he tells my boyfriend to get out.
My boyfriend tells him no and the owner calls the police and says he id going to reposes my car I asked him for what? He says because I was rude I was so confused with this man, he was yelling at me for no reason and told me I wasn't getting my car back. So my boyfriend and I went to talk with the police. And explained the situation and they went to talk to the owner and he was raising his voice to the officer.
The officer told me that he didn't no why he had a business because he was not doing anything but yelling. So I have no car that I have paid for, for the first month and I've only drove the car three times. I just wanted everyone to no about this, if you no anyone that could help please let me no.
