I went to Bill Heard Sugarland to look at a used Suburban. I unfortunatly got introduced to a NEW car salesman. When I asked to look at the used cars he told me he could get me a better deal finance wise on a new car. Well 6 hrs later with a 1 yr old in tow we drove out in a 2007 Silverado New Body Style. We Love the truck but hated the headache of getting it where we did. When we left the dealership we were told we had signed ALL the papers to make it ours. We left our trade in, A 2003 Dodge Durango SLT 3rd seat, leather, rear air, 4x4 and all the bells and whistles. It was payed off so there was no need for them to pay it off. NOW the horror part of this story, We get home and my wife starts looking in the paperwork for the contract that I signed and it wasnt there. I called the salesman the next day and was told that everything was ok and he would get to the bottom of it, Well 3 days went by and still no word so I called again and this time he acted like it was a problem with the finance dept. Again no help, So I became a thorn in their ear with my phone calls 3 to 4 times a day till I got an answer. Took 2 more days but I was told that my financing hadnt gone through but he could get me in at a higher rate of interest. Which inturn meant a higher monthly note. It went from $350 a month to $400 a month now the vehicle as advertised was 29,995 on the window sticker and thats also what the salesman quoted me for the truck. My trade was $9500 with $1000 cash and $4000 in rebates. Which should have made the balance $15,495. When I make a special trip back to Sugarland the NEW price of the truck is $31,395 but I had already put over 1000 miles on the truck and didnt want to give it back. It seems to me that they tacked on a little over $1000 of the rebates back on the end of the note. I had already paid the taxes with the $1000 cash. I owe $17,000 on the truck but with the financing they got me I owe $28,000 to pay it off. Now I know my credit isnt that great high 400's but I still didnt need a co signer and I got a better deal than most I have read about on here. BUT all the hell I went through to get it and the high pressure sales tactics. They litteraly will not let you leave untill you agree to purchase a vehicle. Believe me I TRIED. Once they have your keys you might as well clean your trade in out. I will never buy another truck from them or any of his other companies if I can help it!!!
