VONAGE took my phone number from BellSouth/AT&T in one day. I have waited over three weeks to get it back.

VONAGE refused to send a technician out to my home to hook-up their equipment at any other time other than 8-5 M-F. I hooked-up up their equipment myself and and it blew out my system board.

Within two days of signing up for the VONAGE service I found out that AT&T does not have a DSL only line and I would still need a DSL line and a phone line from AT&T. When adding the cost of the VONAGE service it was well over $70/mn. This is no savings from what i had. It certainly is not ONLY $24.95/mn with a $24/mn DSL charge.

VONAGE said they will not charge me if I cancel my service within the first month. This is a lie as they debited my account the first day I spoke to them (see the debit from my bank account below).

I cancelled my service within two days and still do not have my number ported back to AT&T and no money has been refunded to my account.

Customer service cannot help me and the only contact with the port out department at VONAGE is through email. Their email reply is, "We're working on it."

VONAGE sends out faulty equipment that damages computers. They hold phone numbers hostage. They steal money from people's bank account without their awareness.in addition they practice false and misleading advertising.
