Do not give this company the time of day. WARNING! This company is a scam and will feed you B.S. Right to your face.
Looking on careerbuilder.com, I came across this entry-level, sales/marketing company and decided to check out the website, which by the way looks very professional. I thought to myself, "give it a shot". That was mistake number 1.
The initial interview/screening, went well, all seemed legit to that point. I noticed there were 5 other people in there for interviews and saw about 15 employees (sales reps). I got the call that night, "Congratulations, you are invited for the 2nd interview tomorrow!" The second interview was a day of observation, that consisted of shadowing a sales rep. Who feeded me B.S.
The day was spent driving around to about 50 businesses, looking like morons and wasting everybodies time, mine especially. I asked about salary, benefits, etc. And was told we would talk about that later. My gut feeling initially told me to get out, but still had some little bit of hope left.
During lunch, this sales rep/liar, got out this paper, showing the 4 levels of working your way up, with listed "salary". This rep. Lied, it's commission only and you will NOT make a dime. Since this rep. Said the money was good, I had faith this could be something good.
Later in the day, I met with the king crook/cult hero himself, and was fed more B.S. Before this meeting, I was told he worked his way up to his own office, even though he just happens to be a Siler himself, coincidence? So, I get the call that night. The job is yours. Yeah!
The first day of the job, I notice not as many sales rep. (quit) and plenty of more people in for interviews (high turnover). I fill out this paperwork, which only mentions commission, nothing about benefits, etc. I get this packet of information/training and then get called into this room, which was an utter mess and it seemed shady and unorganized. So, this rep.
I shadowed, says this is so and so, you'll be with her today. Oh and just by coincidence, she didn't have a car that day and I had to drive. That was the gunner for me, since I have read about this already. Then this rep. Says, ok bye, see you at 6! Where is the training!? I am then asking this rep. All these questions and this rep. Is speechless. I was livid. I got outside and basically told them I heard this job was a joke and adios.
