Complaint / Review
Fusion Talk
Ripoff

When checking my Visa account on line around January 15th, I noticed a charge of $24.95 on my bill from a company called Fusion Talk. I called the 800 number and asked them what kind of a company they were. I was told a long distant phone carrier. Then I asked them how I happened to get signed up. She said you were contacted by phone and agreed to this. I told her I did not have long distance server on my phone and did not want any. Also that my phone is on the "Do Not Call List".

I was not contacted and I never give out my credit card number over the phone. The date of the charge was Dec. 22. I live alone and was in Michigan visiting for the Holidays. She said she would cancel my membership and refund the money. This did not happen. Just for fun I tried to make a long distant call, which naturally did not go through. If you have this so called service, why wouldn't the call go through.

I called my credit card and disputed the charge. They took the charge off, pending investigation. The past two weeks I have tried to call Fusion Talk. They say they are pulling up my file. Then they instruct you stay on the line because the call is important to them and will be answered in order. Every minute or so the messaage is repeated but they never answer. I waited 2 hours before hanging up.

This company must be a fraud and needs to be STOPPED. How did they get my credit card information?
