I bought a Samsung side by side ref. 1yr 6 mo. Ago My 1 yr warranty had run out, but i still have 5 yr sealed service warranty. I called Samsung and they sent out a company called advance apl. Service. And all he did was check the unit and said the ice maker was bad and the compressor was bad. H he didn't fix anything just charged me a service call and a labor charge. Well it turns out he doesn't do sealed service warranty work. I hav contacted Samsung 4 times and they keep promising a call from someone who can do the work. But I am still waiting. It seems every time I call they keep telling me to contact advance appliance service, like they don't even know that they do not do sealed service work. I would sure like to be contacted by someone who could resolve this problem.
