Bought this Samsung dryer from Best Buy about a 1 1-2 years ago. Did not purchase extended warranty. Now, dryer will not come start; control panel does light up. My complaint is this: there are NO authorized Samsung service reps in our area (western NC); closest is almost 60 miles away, and we live in a fairly large city of about 100K. Unlike Sears and others, Samsung appears "reluctant" to sell parts or offer service instruction to non-authorized appliance repair people. A word of warning: when shopping for major appliances, be sure to ask about repair scenarios. Also consider the extended warranty. To Best Buy - when pitching your extended warranty, you might mention the hassles with getting Samsung products repaired.
