I purchased a pair of boots from 123mountain.com early July for use here in Afghanistan. The boots I ordered were listed as in stock. Before I submitted my order, I called 123Mountain just to be sure (it take a while to recieve things here). I was told by a young man on the phone that they "definitely have them available" and to go ahead and order. He told me they would ship withing 3-5 days, so I submitted my order.
It is now August 13 and 123Mountain has not shipped my order. I have called them seven times requesting a tracking number. Each time I called them, a customer service rep told me she would obtain the tracking number and email me "in the next couple of hours". I still haven't recieved any information from them. My order status was marked as "complete" and "shipped" the day I ordered. My credit card was also charged full price, even though they have not shipped to this date. A request for a refund met only with a written response (online) to "be patient"!
I have learned after some research this company has a "F" rating with the Better Business Bureau. There are hundreds of complaints against them online. I'm pretty sure at this point, I will never see my boots or money. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated!
