I purchased a product on the Internet that was offered as a Free Trial Sample. The reason I ordered it - it was a trial sample and should I have an allergic reaction I would not have to return the product. After I pressed the submit
button I had Buyers Remorse. "Why"? There was no price for the Product listed. It is illegal
to sell a product or service without providing the buyer with an amount. I invested $4.95 for shipping and handling, revealing My Bank and
Credit Card Number which always makes me nervous. I called them immediately to cancel
the order at 877) 542-0268. The Answering Machine message was confusing. They did not
mention their company name. I could not reach
anyone. I sent a message to them from their email site, negating my order. They did not respond, ignored me completely. When my bank
statement reflected the debit of $89 and a phone number, I called and spoke with a Customer Service Representative. I told him I
did not authorize an $89 withdrawal. He would not answer me or my questions. He told me to get in touch with my Bank. I research RVTL, anti aging and was directed to a Scam Book who reported over $25,600.27 that RVTL Anti Aging Company had scammed from the Public and not paid back. Customers were not able to get back their money. My Bank agreed to temporarily Reverse the $89 charge. Hopefully that will stick.
