I had a very simple, and what should have been easily fixable problem of a, not-working, activation key for Microsoft Office. I was connected to "Tech 67" or "Arthur" from Omnitech. From there, he took control of my computer over the internet and proceeded to open up windows system 32, then told me I had problems to fix. I then agreed to allow him to fix it. He downloaded a 200mb anti virus program which found about 2000 harmful viruses. The only thing was, I just purchased this computer 2 weeks ago and haven't downloaded anything. His final message was, I had to pay approximately $350 dollars for them to be fixed. He did not once attempt to fix my problem but instead attempted to, what I believe, scam me.
