Ripped by FALSE labeling

Original saltines

ARE NOT ORIGINAL! They DO NOT have the amount of salt that they used to have, SO, They are NOT, like, in any way, the ORIGINAL SALTINES.
I believe that this is FALSE ADVERTISING and the companies that do this should be brought to task about this deception about their products.
AND, some are not made in America and taste like crap and smell like it also.

Graham crackers

I have a coffee cup that measures 3" inside (side to side). The graham crackers, for 50 years, would just fit inside of it. NOW, the crackers are only 2 1/4" across and the price is at least 35% or more higher. The public is being ripped off again AND the companies are screwing up all the cook books as far as quantity to be used in a recipe. One is ether very short OR one must purchase extra and must guess as to how much to add and have extra left over that, if not used, will go to waste.

Another thing about graham crackers. When one purchases an off brand or store brand the crackers are of poor quality and taste like flower with very little graham flavor. Hummmm, you think they are ripping off the public? YOU BET THEY ARE!

Hersey bars

I had a calling for some chocolate so I stopped to get a chocolate bar. BOY, was I ever screwed on that one. The bar was at least 60% thinner and cost $1.69. (for less content than a 5 cent bar used to have and melted before one could "crunch a chunk") and enjoy the bar.
Another thing they are doing is "selling air" in chocolate drops. You are getting the size but NOT GETTING the product. Hummmm, you think they are ripping off the public? YOU BET THEY ARE!

Campbell soups

Have you noticed the can of soup is at least 15% smaller (my guess) and cost 50% more? Bet not! Again, they are screwing up all the cook books as far as quantity to be used in a recipe. One is rather very short OR one must purchase extra and must guess as to how much to add and have extra left over that, if not used, will go to waste. Hummmm, you think they are ripping off the public? YOU BET THEY ARE!

Ice cream

All ice cream WAS sold as 1 Gal., 1/2 Gal., 1 Qt., 1 Pt. BUT, have you noticed that the quantity has been REDUCED but, the price has gone UP A LOT and the quality has GONE DOWN! Hummmm, you think they are ripping off the public? YOU BET THEY ARE!

Every day fruit & vegetables

They ALL WERE sold by the 1 Bushel, 1/2 bushel or peck or bunch.
What the hell is going on here? Selling apples, oranges, onions etc.By the pound? Hummmm, you think they are ripping off the public? YOU BET THEY ARE!

Bread

Have you noticed that the loves are shorter and SMALLER in width and height? BET NOT! BUT, they cost ten times what they are worth.
And the lunch meat was hid by the bread. None the lunch meat sticks out all the way around the bread.

Lunch MEATS

The above brought me to this one. Have you noticed that almost all lunch meat is sliced so THIN you can read a news paper through it and it and has NO FLAVOR and is not sold by the pound any more, it's sold by the ounce. Hummmm, you think they are ripping off the public? YOU BET THEY ARE!

Oil / gas

There is a very large question here.
When the ATT was BIG, they were forced to sell off and become smaller in order to "reduce prices to the public". The same thing with large trucking company's. So, why not make the oil company's do the same thing?
And, to add to the above, why is American oil (from Alaska) being sold to China and the U.S.A. Is buying what it uses everyday, from the mid-east? Hummmm, you think they are ripping off the public? You bet they are!
