I got a "thank you" screen after either filling out a survey or purchasing something online, I can't remember. The offers were for several personal care products and I chose the Collagenta, for which I was only to pay a minimal amount - shipping only, plus a small fee. Two months later, I have a charge on my credit card for $148.82 and the customer service department explained that the trial was a 2-week offer, after which I was to return the product if I didn't like it.
I checked their website, and it certainly looked nothing like the page I ordered from. It clearly states that there will be a charge, whereas the "thank you" screen did not.
I am upset at them, but at myself as well, since I NEVER order these things online - never respond to unsolicited ads, am always suspicious, and read every word. Having read other complaints, and knowing my own habit of reading carefully, I am convinced that there was absolutely nothing to warn victims of this scam.
To make it airtight, there is no way for me to retrieve the site I ordered from. Lesson learned for $150. I hope they go bankrupt.
