You can imagine my surprise and embarrassment when my CC was declined at the grocery store...
Upon follow-up with the Master Card Customer Service, it was then that I discovered I was charged almost $150 for an item I never received, nor ordered*
I cancelled my card right there on the spot* But the inconvenience of having to wait for a new card to be issued, plus, they can't reverse this charge until they further investigate*
In my case, there was a pop-up survey for Ebay to fill out* with the promise of a free gift, that being collagenta, valued at $60, just for filling out this survey* I later discovered I was charged 9.99 for shipping* I was not too bothered by this charge...
Then on April 12 my CC was charged an additonal $148.82...
I have notified Ebay, Master Card, Paypal...
I hope we all get justice in this survey scam!
