I bought an engine for my car on 1/9 from Standard Auto Wrecking Co., Inc., with a three months warranty. When it was delivered to my mechanics they discovered that the engine was no good. I informed the company and they took back the engine promising to have it replaced. It has been five months now and all we have gotten so far are empty promises. They took back the bad engine but I still cannot get another engine or a refund. My mechanics have been over there on numerous occasions. I have called them almost on a daily bases, still no engine. As a result of my prolonged absence from work I was fired. Needless to say my bills and other expenses and obligations did not stop. If this company had dealt with this matter in a professional way and at least honored their warranty I would not be in this situation. So I think it is only fair that I be compensated and this company be exposed for it's fraudulent practices.
