I purchased a used engine on August 9th. The engine was not received until August 22.installation of the engine required removal of the oil pan to clear the cross member. Upon removal of the pan, there were 2 pieces of metal shim laying in the pan.
I proceeded to contact the company to let them know that there was a problem with the engine. The representative, who called herself "Becky", told me that there was a 15 day warranty only. As per the web site the 15 day warranty is for electronic parts. She then proceeded to tell me that because the pan was removed that the warranty was voided, regardless that the merchandise was obviously defective.
My boss then spoke with "Becky" and she told him that there would be an engine sent out to replace the defective engine. After a 2 week wait and no engine, I contacted D&J Auto Parts. I was then told that an engine would not be sent out until the defective engine was returned.
