I searched Google for "apple support" and dialed this company thinking I was talking to Apple. I was told that my warranty had expired and that if I needed technical support, I would need to pay $249.99. At the time, I didn't think to ask who I was paying or how—I just needed help. Two days into the "help" which hasn't solved the problem, I began to wonder who I was working with. I called the company today and the person hung up. Now that I have followed up on the phone numbers, I realize that this is not Apple and I do not want to pay them.
