Technician led me to believe that AppleCare Plus did not cover items such as software and technical support. Told me that if I wanted to make sure that I had technical support, that I would benefit from having the Advanced Technical Support - then went on to sale me the support for $249.00. After I made the purchase, something just didn't feel right. Especially when my email indicated that this was not Apple, but MyTechHelp... All the time, I was thinking that I was talking to someone from Apple Support.
I called to cancel - and was told that because I spoke to a technician, it would cost $50.00 — The technician did NOTHING - but sell me an expensive plan under the guise of apple support. And bilked me out of $50.00.
