We purchased several items from them. A sofa, washer, dryer, dishwasher plus a chair and have a week to decide if need there were any changes before full payment. They said they will include the warranty of the appliances with it. However, in the invoice they out down $200 for warranty when confronted they said it's just the way they write it. We decided to cancel the chair and immediately they said the warranty was not included. Guess what, a part of the dryer was broken. Guess they want to make more money and went back on their words on warranty. Watch out for this scam.
The first delivery was supposed to be before 17:00. We waited till 18:30 and no delivery nor telephone call. We drove back home since this is our cottage. Then half way home we received a call saying that they were at the cottage. We gave them an hour and 30 minutes extra and we were not about to drive back. So it will be for another week. It took them a total of 3 weeks to have everything delivered.
The sofa was the last delivery. They came, hit the door and we did not think too much of it until we saw that the wooden door was damaged. Immediately we call customer service and after five telephone calls and two visits to the store no one ever got back to us. We have send them a registered letter with all the names, dates and replies (in this case none from customer service) requesting a reply but again not reply.
For those future customers please think ten times before purchasing anything from The Brick. As you can see from others they are not helpful, not ethical and sure no customer service at all. All you have to do is to ask past customers about the customer service.
You can also check with Better Business Bureau on their rating and complaints even though they are not part of BBB for obvious reasons.
Their tactics is to ignore your complaints until you are frustrated and give up. Be a well informed consumer.
