On April 8th, at P-E Trudeau airport I used a Bell payphone to place a 50 second phone call.inserted the 50 cents required in the phone for my local call. The phone refused the coins stating their was a problem and prompted me to use my credit card.
The phone message claimed to wait for charges, wait for charges but amount for called never mentionned. I was suprised to see the amount of 11.69$ charged to my credit card.
I called the company twice. First time they lied to me saying that they couldn't process my demand because their computers were being reprogrammed and that I should try to call a second time in an hour. I called 5 minutes later, spoke to the same representative, but this time in English... First said he would lower by 35% then 50%.
Angry that they would scam us into using a credit card through faulty payphones...
