I made 2 calls to mainland USA from Honolulu International Airport and was charged about $45 for each of them. I used my credit card to pay and the first time I gave the information on the phone to a service rep. While the second time I inputted the information myself. Each call only lasted a few minutes. I was never informed of these rates and there was no information on the payphone posting these charges.
I e-mailed their customer service requesting a refund to the amount that would balance my charge to a normal fee for payphone usage. I expected it to cost a few dollars, ten at most and am outraged that they would charge that much for two very short calls without any notice of fees. I have not received a response to my request, but regardless, I will never use WiMacTel's services again.
