Pay phones at Chicago O'hare airport terminal

I have made a local call from the pay phone at the Chicago airport on 22/4 for a minute using my visa credit card. Expected charges are less than fifty cents. The machine did not accept the coins and I was forced to use credit card. To my surprise, the credit card was charged an amount of 19.98 USD.

When I contacted the icici credit card dept to check whether there is any conversion mistake, they asked me to produce the receipt. The pay phone does not provide any receipt.

I would request all the concerned to examine the process of billing / charging the credit card and correct the possible mistakes.

I would also request for the refund of the 19 USD charged unreasonably. Thanking you
