Dishwasher flood damage claim denied after service repair

I had my Sears dishwasher serviced and a day later the hose broke and flooded the kitchen and damaged the flex hose to the AC and furnace. The company Sears has hired, which is Sedgwick CMS, said they would not pay for the damage and that Sears was not responsible for the damage. The date of the damage is March 15.
