We have a Kenmore dishwasher that cracked a hose and leaked on the floor for a long period of time. The cupboards fell apart, there was mold on the bottom of the cupboards and you could smell it when you went into the kitchen. We had no choice but to rip out the cupboards to get the smell out of the house. It turned out that some of our cats ended up getting sick and we had to take them to the vet to get better. A claim was filed with Sedgwick CMS and they said the problem was not their responsibility as the dishwasher was made by Whirlpool and they would have to take care of the claim. We filed all paperwork with Sedgwick and again with Whirlpool. To this date we have had no response from either company as I believe they are just ignoring us in hopes we will go away. The tech that repaired the hose that was defective took the part with him so we have no idea what is going on and no one wants to respond to our phone calls or e-mails. Guess this must be the way Sears treats all their customers.
