I conducted a search for over a month for flights leaving on a specific date and returning on a specific date and time. When I was finally able to book the flight, I was unable to pay because my card came up invalid. I called the bank, the card was fine. I tried again and I only had to reselect the seats, but when the payment failed again the a box popped up with a confirmation number and to call to pay, so I did. The representative repeated the dates I booked and I paid. A few days later, I was placing a reservation for my rental car and referred to the email confirmation for my flight and noticed the return was wrong, when I called after holding for about 10 minutes or more the man said he could not help because I did not purchase the ticket with United. I thought it was strange, but sent an email to the site I conducted the search, their response was they are only a search engine. I called United again and they once again was no help and would not let me speak to the woman who helped me with the purchase. I have the original search in my history, no other dates but the same one entered. I am not paying $150.00 to change a flight I did not select. I will never use this airline ever again. It is bad enough the last flight left me with back spasms because the person behind kept slamming the tray against my seat and the plane smelled like wet dirty dog and I had a foot from the passenger behind between my seat. United should be paying passengers to fly on their airline. This was a computer glitch and I do not appreciate being accused of lying. My hotel reservation was made a month in advance with the dates as my flight. I want justice. It is nothing for them to correct the flight, they just want to make money and it is not fair. You can't even review the flight before paying for it, and if the woman did not say the correct dates I would have changed it, but she said Sunday, yet I am stuck on a Monday flight! I am very annoyed!!
