Booked a direct plane to New Orleans with a window seat for additional monies. Flight was cancelled due to weather. They rebooked me and charged me add'l fees for a window seat but placed me in a middle seat. The 2nd flight was a connecting flight (suppose to be cheaper), put me in a middle flight. Flight was delayed almost 2 hours so they rebooked me into a third flight. Now they boarded me, charged me for another window seat and put me in a middle seat for add'l monies. The 3rd flilght is also a connecting flight. We all boarded then we were told that the co pilot is in Washington DC and would not be here for an add'l hour or so. Now, I'm out alot of monies, time and I will miss my connecting flight.
United Airlines could have placed me on a direct flight earlier in the day but they didn't want to put me in first class.

With no co pilot, why did United Airlines make us board the plane. They were WELL aware of the situation.
