I booked a flight yesterday on Orbitz.com. A few hours later I received an email explaining my flight booking could not be confirmed by the airline due to unavailability. I checked Orbitz web site again to search for an available flight and I could see my same flight was still offered, at the same price. So I booked it again. Today I received an email to confirm my flight booking and providing my electronic ticket number. But I have just received a warning email called "A change to your flight itinerary", informing flight schedule has been changed, but the updated flight itinerary is same as previous one! What is happening? Can I trust that my flight has been reserved? Could Orbitz just swap me to another flight that would not match my required dates and connections? I am so worried now...
