Like seemingly everyone else here I ordered free trial packages from Bellagenix and PuraSilk, only to find out two months later (after receiving a second delivery) that I am supposed to have opted for a subscription of these products. I called their customer hotline (here in Germany) and had this "subscription (s)" cancelled.
Here is an excerpt (and translation) of the confirmation email:
"Dies passierte weil Sie versehentlich den Hacken bei der Bestellung des Produktes für Zusendung monatlicher Nachfüllungen nicht entfernt haben. Sie werden kein weiteres Produkt mehr erhalten."
"This happened because during your ordering you did not remove the mark from the checkbox to receive monthly replenishments".
So, I do not think there was a checkbox (can anybody confirm this?) - I am quite vary of these kind of things. The automatic subscription and the no-money back "guarantee" for all subsequent shipments seems to be stated only somewhere in the middle of their terms & conditions page (http://www.purasilk.com/terms.php).
And I'm still wondering if these conditions are in fact legal (internationally or at least here in Germany), as there is no logical reason why returning products like these and getting the money back can be excluded by the selling company.
