I responded to a promotion which suggested 2 products from 2 different companies if used together could be beneficial for skin conditions. The 2 companies Argan and Purasilk were offering trial samples at £5.99 (Argan) and £2.49 Purasilk. I applied to each and though it was suggested that the products' trial period was a month in fact I was billed for a regular supply of both.in the case of Purasilk only 13 days after I was billed for the £2.49 I was billed a further
£74.95 and the implication of continued subscription. I have already filled in a Scambook complaint form against Argan and Argan have said they are trying to find a resolution. However in the case of Purasilk I used a different credit card to pay and have only recently got the statements to prove the dates and information of the transactions. I returned both trial sample products to the respective companies unopened and cancelled the "subscription" for any further supplies. No further supplies were sent but none of my money has been
returned.
