I am very disappointed and upset with my Hewlett-Packard Pavilion notebook. I purchased it on 12/30/09 and immediately the left bottom button was wobbly, within 2 months the battery was bad on it. Then within 5 months, the power adapter cord went bad. I live on my own, no one else uses this computer and it has been cared for very well. To have these things go wrong is very frustrating. When I contact tech support for assistance, I can't understand a word the person is saying to me, and feel like I am not being listened to as to what is going on. Because of that lack of support I have had to use more money to purchase replacements because I was not getting the help I needed. At this rate, I will not be recommending this brand to anyone. Very disappointed! As I speak to others, I am learning that there are quite a few customers that have the same issues and same concerns.
