I purchased a 42inch flat screen tv from wallmart on april 4th the brand was hisense it was a brand that had not heard of before, but i thought i would take my chances, because it had a pretty good picture, and at the time i thought i was getting a good deal. I payed $365 dollars for the set and a additionaly $100 for a 2 year warranty. On around sept the 9th i turned on the set and noticed a diagonal black screen on about half of the picture. I immediatly called wallmart and they explained to me that they do not cover any warranty after 90 days and that i would half to contact the manufacture, it was sunday so i had to wait the next day which was there regular business hours, i talked to one of there operators and explained the problem to him he could not diagnose it over the phone, so he asked me to take a picture of the screen and email it to him, this went on for two days, eventually he sent me to a another operator. She told me to fax my receipt to her with the warranty and ship the tv back to them so that the engineers could see what problem was. So i shipped the set back through ups and which i had to spend a additional $80 dollars, a week later i called and she said they could not cover the warranty, in a around about way they said i damaged it. I really fill ripped off.
