I recently saw a ad on tv where they had lap tops of $ 49.00 & pants (name brand) & shoes for $ 10.00, I traveled over 100 miles to go to the sale, upon reaching the sale they had a sign posted saying that the ad was misleading on the pants & shoes & wasn't there fault it was who made the ad. After reading all these testimonials its clear to see they haven't fixed there ad from prior sales, & as for the flat top monitor they were out of them, but they did have a few other models at a increase in price.
I found a model that had a clear picture 17 in. Screen lcd name brand & it was only $ 99.00, I asked the salesman if it had a warranty & he said yes it did (1 year mfg. Warranty) I purchased the item. 2 weeks later the screen went black, I called the manufacture & they said that model had been in 2005 for warranty repair & there was no warranty on it. I called S & S which put the show on & they gave me a number to call got a answering machine (I still havent got a call back from them)
So I called the number on my receipt & they said no the salesman didn't offer a warranty, but for just $ 25.00 & for that day only they would replace it with a comparable one. (I was taught that you don't put good money after bad money)
So I called the place where they put on the event & gave them this website for them to choose in they want to have them return or not for future shows.
I am surprised the local authoritys in each of these towns haven't gone after them for bait & switching.
