My cell phone and my home phone ramng at the eaxct same time with a caller ID of 000-000-0000.
Recording said something about papers to serve me at work or at home and to call this number 888-671-4866.
Called back and finally got a person who told me I owed payday loans from 2011 for $750 and I needed to pay it right now or I would be arrested at work. He said something about being from Allegheny County attorney's office and I was being accused of fraud.
I told him I never received any paers and asked him to send me proof he said they were not required to send proof???
I told him these were not my loans.
He proceeded to recite my SS # correctly to me and my wifes name and middle initial but NOT my address. Then I said these are not mine, he said yes thats what they all say. Then he proceeded to shout over me as I was asking questions so I hung up on him.
I have filed reports with the IRS, Attorney general, FTC and Lifelock.
Be on alert. This is a scam.
