Rip-off!

I ordered a part, a window regulator for my pickup on 8/9/04 and was told it would be 5-10 business days to my order to arrive. My inspection was due and needed the part by months end, so I figured that it would be ok. It was immediately charged to my credit card. As 10 business days came and went, I realized that I wasn't getting anywhere. I called and everybody transfered me to the tracking department. (Bill) Well Bill never return my 6 or so calls.

On 8/29/04,14 business days after my order was taken, I called the sales office and talked to Steve, who said that, as you look at the other complaints, the first part was broken and they had shipped me another one on 8/18/04. So I waited til the 31th, which was 10 business days from when the second one was shipped. I called Steve again and told him that if the order came, I would reject it and he said that was fine.

I got the part elsewhere, but had to drive a few days with expired inspection. On the 10th of September I got the part and the tracking number I received from UPS stated that the part was shipped on the 1st. A day after I cancelled it. Unfortunately I wasn't home and the UPS man left it by the door.

I immediately called Steve and he told me to call Jackie Betteis from refunds. I called and called to no return calls. I went away and when I returned, I called Steve and I had to call him 2 times until UPS came on the 15th of Oct. To get the part. It was returned to sender on the 21st of October.

Now I am still waiting for my refund. After numerous calls to the refund department, many of by answering service, I talked to Steve on 11/15/04 and he said that he or Jackie will call within 24 hours. Yea, right. On 11/22/04 I called Steve again and he gave me the owner, John's, voicemail. I left a message with him and would you believe that he called me the next day. Unfortunately, since I work alot it was me cell number and I was out of the area, so I missed his call. When I found out he called, I called him right back and left another message on his voicemail.

Today is 11/29/04, and I called John again and reached him. After a long wait on hold, I was transfered to accounting. I have no idea why, but that is where he transfered me. All I want is my $88.50 refund. Is that too much for them to do. My next step is the better business burea. Thank you.
