Worst Business Practices I've EVER Experienced ripoff

I ordered a window switch and door regulator on October 4th from John Bardino. He said it would about ten days. After two weeks I placed numerous calls to their place of business trying to get an update from John. I was told (by Andy) John was out sick and to call back the next day as he sometimes works out of his house and keeps invoices there and they would call him.

I called and got same answer only this time Andy would talk to him personally and call me back. No response back. After again numerous calls and refusing to be put on hold, I finally get someone who said oh ya that was my screw up, I'll call you back. To my suprise he did (at least one person there who does what he says). The window switch would be at my house within two days, but regulator was on back order.

Switch did arrive whe he said, but was not given an anticipated date for the regulator.in the meantime the weather turned colder and decided to stop driving with a window down (kinda cool if you know what I mean) and fixed window. The following Monday morning the 7th of November I called and spoke to Christina informing her I would not need the part now, to cancel my order and to refund me the money taken out on October 4th. She agreed and said she would initiate the paperwork.

By the time I got home from work that evening she had called to say the part was there and although she knew I wanted to cancel the order and did not need it anymore, it was a NEW PART and should she send it to me because it could be there tomorrow? She said for me to call her back to let her know what to do.

I couldn't call that night because they were closed, so when I got to work first thing in the morning I called Christina to say as I told her the previous afternoon, I did not want the part as the vehicle is fixed and do not send the part just refund my money. I left her my work number and said to call if there were any questions. She did not.

Imagine my surprise when I got home and found the part had been sent (in spite that she clearly knew I did not want or need the part as she said on the voicemail) and was sitting on my doorstep. I called immediately and got her voicemail. I left a message stating she should send FedEx back to pick it up the next morning and when it got there refund my money. Again I left my work number. No follow up from her at all.

After calling again today for about the third or fourth time I finally got a live person on the phone.By now your voicemail messages do not get returned and good luck actually talking to soemone in customer service, so you have to call the toll free number. Then they put you on hold and sometimes while you are waiting it disconnects you. You call back go through the same process all over and again get disconnected.

Finally I guess they figured out I wasn't going to quit until I spoker to someone (??) who directed me to send the regulator part back with a note inside in order to get a refund (minus shipping charges? How is that my fault?), which I am doing just to get this issue over with. I have retained a copy of the note (this letter) and the receipt/tracking number of the FedEx shipping label to confirm it was sent back. I will let you know if I what other hassles I have to go to get my money.
