After reading everything that is written about this company, my report is going to sound like a broken record.

I called S&J on August 12 to inquire about a passenger side headlight assembly for my car and spoke with Scott. He told me that this part was in stock, brand new and could be shipped out that day. Keep in mind that when i heard "brand new" i thought that was strange only because i drive a 1992 Saab. I ended up ordering the part. And i was also told by Scott that he would be either calling me or emailing me with the tracking number.

After the 3 - 5 business days past i called Bill at extension 206 inquiring about my part only to be forwarded to voicemail. I left messages on August 18 at 12:30pm and 4:30pm. I left all of my information. No phone call back.

I then called on August 19th at 10:20am, 2:46pm, 4:42pm & 5:41pm. Called and first spoke with Scott and told him i was looking for my part only to be transferred to to someone else who told me that the wrong headlight came in and they ordered the correct one. The headlight allegdly left the warehouse and he would be calling me tomorrow around noon with the tracking number.

I placed another call on August 20th at 1:25pm and left a message with Bill. Believe or not i received a message back from Bill stating that his co-worker had my invoice on his desk, and now it's not there which leads him to believe that the part had probably been shipped out. He also said they had problems locating the part. Scott was out and he would call me back on Monday. Still no tracking number.

I call back on August 23rd at 11:30am and spoke with Keisha (Bill was not in) and she told me that she would call me back within 20 minutes with my tracking number. 12:19pm I got a call back from Keisha, the message was unclear so i had to call her back.

I call Keisha back and when i ask for her i hear a conversation going on in the background when a gentleman looking for Keisha says "Yes, she asked for you by name". Keisha did say there was a mix up with my order and I could be possibly be getting two headlights in the mail and to please send the second one back to them as soon as i receive it. She also informed me that the part (s) were coming from Florida so she wasn't sure when i would get them. Still no tracking number.

I call back on September 10th at 12:10pm called Bill and left message stating that I would be contacting the Better Business Bureau and all the news stations regarding S&J if i did not hear back from him that day I also told him that since i never received the headlight (s) to forget my order because i had already gone ahead and gotten my car fixed (cheaper than the headlight i ordered. Guess what, no phone call.

On September 23rd I called again and left all of what is written here on Bills voice mail still asking for a phone call back.

On September 24th I checked my messages and got a message from John Bardino who said he was the owner of this (to quote) fiasco and to give him a call. I called at 10:30am and put in John's extension only to speak to Jackie who tried to explain to me that the girl who was in charge of the invoices had two deaths in the family (I am sorry to hear this, but after hearing all of the prior excuses do they really expect me to believe them) and she could not promise a phone call back because she was running three offices at that point in time.

To this day 9/24/04, still no credit.

I wish i had read all of these reports before i ordered my part from S&J because believe me i would have NEVER ordered my part from them!!! This company has no customer skills at all, the only thing they are good at is taking the unsuspecting customers money and then giving out excuses!!!

This company is awful, please anyone looking for used parts, do not order anything from this company, stay away, run away!!!

And thanks to one customer's suggestion i will be filing a claim with the NY Attorney General's Office also.
