I have had NUMEROUS problems with FedEx. Some of my favorite online shopping sites use them for package deliveries and I have had nothing but terrible experiences from receiving the products to following up in order to improve future experiences. My apt building doesn't have a call box and they refuse to contact me in any way shape or form alerting me that a driver is stopping by in spite of the fact that i've offered my personal number and am willing to do everything up to sitting outside the damn doorstep for a 2 hour period waiting for a delivery. They leave me stickers on the front door and since i have no way of knowing what time they might arrive I am forced to take time and gas and drive out to their inconveniently located storefronts to pick up my merchandise often having paid extra for expedited shipping. I got some text books from them a few months ago and not only had to go pick them up but was then informed that since one was shipped ground and the other shipped express (they were from 2 different amazon sellers) I had to go to not one but TWO different locations to pick them up, as luck would have it of course, neither location was close to me or even to eachother. Most recently they have REALLY topped themselves losing my ENGAGEMENT PHOTO PRINTS that I paid to have shipped to my parents house, a residence where no one could possibly mislay or steal them, as I had obviously experienced issues at my own residence. Months after paying the shipping costs they still had not arrived and after investigating the photo studio sent me FedEx's letter of "proof of delivery" stating that they had been delivered more than a month ago. Just one problem... THEY NEVER ARRIVED! Now i'm stuck trying to figure out exactly where it is they have gone and what i'm going to for the various family members that are waiting for the pics. Their 800 number is worthless, their customer service staff uninterested and borderline rude on the phone and in person and as a delivery company they are a complete joke. If I weren't a poor student I would probably consult a lawyer and see if I could get away with suing them.
