DLink gave me the "Apple" helpline when I was on with them. I became highly suspect when I received a call saying they wouldn't ship a router to me b/c I live in Canada. I know Apple wouldn't do that. As I investigated I found out the fatal move I made w / these scammers. I've talked to the losers that work there and they swear they will refund me the router fee, but I'll believe it when I see it. Also they said they sent me an email for a rebate for the scam anti-virus software. Needless to say, I didn't see that either. I'm disgusted. Can't we start a collective lawsuit?
