This company actively seeks to defraud customers by posing as the tech support contractor for Apple Inc. Access by phone reached receptionist who claimed that the problem with my new Iphone hotspot was caused by a virus. She claimed it was not covered by my warranty and free tech help was not available for virus removal. Charged me $99 to connect to a tech, who could not help because I had no internet access. Gained alternative internet access 3 days later and called back for help. Tech went into my computer remotely, and diagnosis was a virus that could only be detected and removed with antivirus software that cost $59. He installed it. It did not detect a virus on any of my Apple products but it has slowed the machine. Went to Apple Store today to find that mytechhelp is not contractor to Apple and Apple recommends removing the anti-virus program. It was a scam from the getgo.
