I was in sears store in marion, illinois and used my debit card and cash register would not print a receipt for me. Manager came over and tried to get receipt to print and said the transaction did not go through even though i pulled my bank account up on my phone and showed him the money came out of my account. He insisted that he would have to re run the transaction and it came out of my account again. I have talked to sears daily and i get a different story each day first that it did not happen, then yes it came out twice but the store could not refund my money, then it would have to be done by the bank then it could not be done by the bank, then it would take 24 hours, then 48 hours, then 72 hours. Now today i get the story 7 to 10 business days. Sears corporate said it could be done immediately, the store says they cannot do it.

Warning do not use debit card at sears@!
