I found a $500 coupon online for use when ordering a new laptop from the HP Home Store. I ordered a HP Pavilion dv7t Quad Edition customizable notebook. I had the laptop, with no problems, for a little over 2 months when I recieved an email from HP about a bad Intel chipset in my laptop. It was sent back to them for repair. They "repaired" it by reinstalling the dept. Store type programs and maybe replacing that chipset. When I got it back I had to purchase new security and office programs. I have had ongoing issues with it since. The last time I talked with their help line they wanted me to buy warranty extensions because mine is almost expired. The cpu has been a nightmare of problems and now they want me to pay for their screw-up. Shouldn't the warranty start after a "like new" performance has been reached. They have just been stalling to get it to a point where they could start making money off their bad product.
