Gregg prutch scam artists! Beware! Do not do any work for these people!

I saw an ad on CL looking for a printer/computer repair technician, which I responded to.in the middle of October, I receive an email from Gregg asking me what my hourly rate was and if I was available that next day and later that week as well, as he had a bunch of service calls that are needing done. So I arrived the next morning to "interview" with him, which, in all actuality, was just a meet and greet, talking about what he was promising to pay ($17.50 per hour) and I left his house and went directly to my first service call, all hyped up, cause I got a new job. That lasted all of about 2 weeks... At the end of October, having passed all of his "tests, " he agreed to bring me on almost full time, subcontract of course, because, as I found out later, he didnt even have a business license to conduct business in the State of Colorado, he finally, October 27, got a business license registered with the CSS. All other licenses previously held by Syntron or variations have lapsed, changed names, or gone delinquent. He even had one company registered "Blue Sky Network Services, LLC" which is a DBA, but its registered to his daughter, Kirsten Prutch, which is also delinquent. What struck me as odd, was the AMOUNT of business licenses listed to Syntron, Gregg, Justin and Kirsten, makes me wonder if their whole family is in on the scam.

On October 31, Gregg emailed me with a contract, outlining pay rate, guaranteed hours, etc, complete with a non-compete agreement, and a W-9 form, which I did not sign. The email read that if I wanted to change anything, to let him know, so I used the handy comment function in Word, added my comments and sent it back to him. The next day I had done a service call for him, and text him that I was coming out to talk to him and get my check. When I was about a block from his house, he text and asked if we could do it the following morning at 9 because he had just gotten home, which I replied no, as I had already driven 10 miles out to his house. When I got there, we talked about the contract, and how I wanted to modify it, and everything was fine. I told him that I wanted paid, and he repied that "thats not going to happen, because Im changing banks." So I said ok, I will be in touch with him in the morning as to coming out then to get it. He then said ok and I left. Next morning, I wake up to a lengthy email saying he didnt like my modifications, and that he was going to have to have an attorney look it over, thus delaying my check longer. I told him that that was unacceptable as my bills were due Nov. 1, and now I was responsible for late fees as my bills were late, and as a result I would be charging him for those fees, as our agreement was pay days are the 1st and 16th of every month.

To make a long story short, I still have not gotten paid from this man, with no reprieve in sight. My rent is late (due on the 1st), and without that check, I cant pay it. Not to mention, $25 a day for late fees. After repeated phone calls and text messages, still nothing. Sunday, Nov. 4 I sent him a message again asking to be paid, to which he replied that he would send me what his supposed lawyer sent him. I havent received anything from him or his lawyer. He told me he would no longer answer my "harrassing" messages any more, to which I replied, its not harrassment, I am simply asking for whats owed, which he knows he owes, and doesnt care.

Do not under any circumstances hire these people for anything!!! And do not work for them... You wont get paid!!!
