I just found out today that TWC charges $4.99 reconnection fee every time your cable service is interrupted. I've been with them over 5 years and have never been made aware of this fee nor is it anywhere on my bill. After escalating my call to the Senior Supervisor Tammy, I was told that an insert had been placed in my bill in Feb stating that the fee was going up from $2.99 to $4.99. An insert? Feb? They disclose every single fee on their notices like the late payment fee, the service fee to have a representative come to your house, the reconnection fee for the phone service, but they do not disclose this one and not a person had an answer for this. Even in the past when I have called and spoken to an agent to have the service reconnected they never stated a fee would be added to my account. They refused to credit my account and had no answers. I will be escalating this as far as I can go and will be reporting it to the BBB. How can they get away with this? TWC has the worst customer service of any company I have ever seen.
