My husband hooked up up to this JOKE of a company last winter. He used our DEBIT CARD (never do this) for convenience so we wouldn't have to keep up with another bill. We even told friends (the billing dept did this to my friends also) at work to join up because of the low price this comany offered.
They claimed on their web site that you would get a free month for EVERY one we sent to them that signed up. We had 3 sets of friends switch their service to this company and signed up his mother. Every month they charged me more than what was owed to them. First few months they charged me double and was refunded in a timely matter& Of course I had to call (thats before they made to where you couldn't). Then in September 03 they decided they would just keep on taking MY money and not Refund any of it. Of cource Im not a wealthy person or I wouldn, t be looking for cheap internet service, and by them taking money out of my account and not knowing when, they ended up overdrawing my account.
I called with no luck and emailed often untill the end of October and spoke to a guy who of course told me my money would be redeposited into my account that day. I cancled my service as of Oct 28. I have since, out of the 4 charges they took for the two month period, recieved 1 (ONE) refund and that was on Nov 17 (form the Internet Services -Washington Park address). Now As of 12 5 03 they seam to have another way of getting MY MONEY. On my transactions for Nov and Dec I have had 3 withdraws for $39 (the same as what they carged me) from Internet Services - Conago Park, CA) Called the bank and because I used my Debit card they can't stop this from happening. SO I had to close my acount to keep these PIGS from stealing me blind.
I have turned this company in to the Better Business Bureau of NY.
