I ordered two boxed sets of DVDs which were described as the complete seasons of BOSTON LEGAL and ALLY MCBEAL. The website indicated that the company was located in Florida and offered a 30 day satisfaction guaranteed period.
The five seasons of Boston Legal were not a boxed set but were individually packaged. Season 2 contained a disc on which the audio and video were way out of sync. Season 3 contained two blank discs. The package containg all of the discs was shipped by FedEx international from somewhere in Asia. It is my belief that the discs are counterfeit.
BUYDVDEZY failed to respond to any of my e-mails which their site says are answered within 24 hours. I finally reached them via the live support link on their site. They refused to accept the return of Seasons 2 and 3 and wanted to allow me a credit of $3 per disc. After much "discussion", I agreed to accept a credit of $28.00 - hopefully it will be credited to my VISA as promised.
I haven't had a chance to view the ALLY MCBEAL discs but at least they were indeed a boxed set. Hopefully they will be alright because BUYDVDEZY will not allow me to return them.
Again - I believe that they deal in counterfeit DVDs so let the buyer beware. (My VISA cardholder agreement which guarantees merchandise that I purchase with it only applies to merchandise purchased within 100 miles of my home.)
