I have attempted multiple times calling, chat and email in order to cancel my account.
I was told to call in the month of renewal to cancel, which I did. I was told my account was canceled. No I did not get a name, did not think I would have this problem.
The account was not canceled and Earth-link has renewed my contract and continue to bill me monthly. I changed credit cards so that each month their attempt to charge me would fail.
I think their strategy is to continue with mounting monthly charges then, report me as a collection account.
Gmail works so much better than Earthlink, even without the support. I am extremely disappointed, as I have had their service in the past. I have requested the contact information for their agent for service of process - of course not reply - yet.
