Earthlink Communications lied to me and told me that DSL is available at my home address. Earthlink knew or should have known that DSL is not available here. Earthlink misappropriated $59.74 from my checking account after being notified in writing not to do so, on 3-23-07 for a service which does not exist.
I had notified Earthlink numerous times that DSL is not available at my home. I also do not have telephone service or any other service with Earthlink. On 4-23-07 an additional $17.95 was misappropriated from my checking account by Earthlink for services which have never existed and earthlink have been notified in writing not to charge.
When I tried to call and to e-mail Earthlink about this matter on 4-23-07, Earthlink refused to communicate with me. The software is designed to only communicate with someone who is a current customer. On the telephone I was on hold 30 minutes, then talked to Chris When Chris heard the nature of my complaint he hung up on me.
Apparently I am going to have to change my Mastercard number because of Earthlink's lying and theft. The fact remains that Earthlink still has my $77.69. As a full-time college student I am pretty certain I need the money I earn worse than Earthlink.
