Six months ago, I was a walking advertisement for Dell. Now, I am an advocate of destroying that company. I started having problems about six months ago. Programs would shut down for no reason and I would lose data. System failures popped up left and right causing the computer to shut down and again losing data. I was taking classes for law school at the time. Needless to say, this was inconvenient to say the least.
My computer has gone back to them twice. They replaced the keyboard and the mother board. Guess what... I am still having problems. Every time I ask for help, I get "I am sorry for the inconvenience" and "Please do not think this is indicative of our customer service." They still do not want to work with me.
I feel I have been very patient with Dell. As anal as it sounds, I have saved every email sent to and received from Dell. Starting tomorrow, I will be putting together a packet to send to my state's attorney general's office as well as the Better Business Bureau. All I have to say is what I told my friends, family, and co-workers. Stay as far away from dell as you can or you may regret it!!!
